About her:
Alice went to the private school in Kampala with her sister Sarah (house Joy). But now they are going to a little home school in Vision. Her father died and her mother went back to Kenya. Alice´s uncle could not care for her anymore.
Characteristic:
She likes to be a group leader and to do outdoor things. Alice is sometimes a little bit shy but she is also a very caring and sensible girl. She is the best friend to Angel (Mama Maria´s daughter).

Sarah´s father died and her mother went back to Kenya. Her uncle could not care for the children. She is the sister of Alice (House Joy). Both of them go now to the new Homeschool in Vision for Africa. Sarah is intelligent. She understands stories very well and learns very fast.

Sarah is a charming girl. Always with a reason to smile and she does everything with joy.

Mercy goes to Middle Class to the Nursery of VfA. She is the niece of Mama Cissy (House-Mama from House Peace). Mercy´s father died in a car accident
and her mother left Mercy with her grandmother alone. She brought her to Vision for Africa.

Mercy is a funny little girl. She easily makes friends because of her open-hearted and she smiles the whole time.

Joyce goes to P6 in Primary school of VfA. Her father died in 2002, her mother left Joyce with her aunt, she couldn´t pay for her anymore and brought her to Vision. Joyce is the oldest girl in House Joy.

If you know her not so well, she looks very shy but it is so great how she cares for younger sisters and brothers in House Joy. She loves to help her mothers in the household.

About her:
She is the mother of House Joy. She is She is born in Kasavo Kabimbiri near Mukono. She has a little daughter (Blessing, 9 Month), who is living also in House Joy. She is working in house Joy for nearly 6 months. A few months before Martha starts working in the houses. She had an interview for a job in VfA and they wanted to call her after this interview. But her phone was broken and so she got never a call. After three month Mama Marta went to the human resource manager to look for another job, but in this office she met Papa Victor (the leader of the orphanages) and he said VfA needs a mother in a house.

She sings in a choir and she likes to be at her computer.

Prayer Request:
At Saturday all the mothers pray together. Martha prays for her children in House Joy, for a good relationship in between the mothers. Additional she is praying for the families of the children and mothers at home and for VfA generally.

About her:
Mama Alice is one of the mothers in House Joy and she is the aunt to Mercy Namukwaya as well. She is from Sato /Uganda. She came to Vision because she was a friend to the woman who looks for new Mama’s. And this lady asked her if she would like to come to Vision for Africa.

Alice loves to sing with the children or tell them stories.

Matoke and Irish potatoes
Prayer request:
The children should know God more and more. And the children should become more responsible.
